According to behavioral science and psychological studies many people are struggling at something in life. THERAPY is needed all around us! Whether it is health, fitting in social groups, anxiety, relationships, sports, sibling treatment, school, suicide, or work, we all struggle with something. Here at CrossBrand Consulting we value the importance of life and utilize therapy as means of helping people improve there quality of life. Research from Psychologists and medical surveys have concluded that 3 out of 5 beds in every hospital are due to what is called "EII." This stands for Emotionally Induced Illness. Studies have also shown that natural sunlight, walks outside on trails, breathing techniques, and exercise can reduce depression significantly. But, most of us fail to utilize the simple things in life by trying to "fit-in" with others or become "too-busy." Life is what YOU make it. So join hands with us and lets take a walk.
Ezekiel and Nichole love working and MENTORING with youth development. In our spare time when not consulting, you can join us at a few local events giving back to the community. Ezekiel spends his time coaching at East Kentwood High School and traveling around to other local West Michigan sporting events. A hobby he also does is providing insight to sports psychology to schools for coaches and athletes to develop competitive advantages at a minimal cost. Speaking and motivating can also be witnessed at these settings. Nichole gives her time to Baxter Community Center where they focus on being a avenue for Christian Response to Human Needs. She is always excited to teach youth about cooking, how to job search, obtaining information about HBCU Colleges tours, and advocating as a life guidance counselor. Mentors are need more today than ever!
Our goal is to aid each of our clients through those struggling times. We aim to target those stressors in life and work through them together. Nothing is ever meant to be taken on alone. We all can share stories about challenges and tragedies in life. How come we can't share stories about how we overcame them as well? Two things we would like to leave you all with:
1) Change takes place over time. So be patient - John Kotter
2) "So as a woman/man thinketh, so shall (s)he become." You become what you think about or fear the most - Napoleon Hill
Whether its youth development or an adult seeking advice, A Helping Hand is Here - CrossBrand Consulting.
